Description

A comforting, easy meal featuring frozen meatballs simmered in a rich, flavorful brown gravy — perfect for weeknight dinners or meal prep.

Ingredients

  • 1 (26 oz) bag frozen meatballs (~30–35 meatballs)

  • 2 cups reduced‑sodium beef broth

  • 1 packet (≈28 g) brown gravy mix

  • 1 packet (≈28 g) onion soup mix

  • 2 Tbsp ketchup

  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Cornstarch Slurry

  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch

  • 2 Tbsp cold water

Instructions

  • In a large saucepan, combine beef broth, gravy mix, onion soup mix, ketchup, and Worcestershire sauce.

  • Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat.

  • Add the frozen meatballs and stir to combine.

  • Cover and simmer for 10–15 minutes, until meatballs are heated through and sauce thickens.

  • In a small bowl, whisk cornstarch with cold water until smooth.

  • Slowly stir the slurry into the sauce, continue simmering until sauce reaches desired consistency.

  • Remove from heat and serve hot.

Notes

If you prefer thicker gravy, add more slurry a tablespoon at a time.

Adjust seasoning to taste; more Worcestershire or ketchup for depth.
