Description

These Crispy Cottage Cheese Chips are a high-protein, low-carb snack that’s taking over the internet! With just one main ingredient and your favorite seasoning blend, you can bake or air fry your way to a crunchy, cheesy chip that’s perfect for dipping, topping, or snacking straight from the tray. Ideal for keto, high-protein, or gluten-free diets.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cottage cheese (small curd recommended)

  • Optional:

    • ½ tsp garlic powder

    • ½ tsp smoked paprika

    • ¼ tsp black pepper

    • ¼ tsp onion powder

    • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven or Air Fryer:

    • Oven: Preheat to 375°F (190°C).

    • Air Fryer: Preheat to 350°F (175°C).

  • Blend the Cottage Cheese:
Add cottage cheese to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth (about 30–60 seconds). This helps the chips bake evenly.

  • Line Baking Tray:
Line a baking sheet or air fryer tray with parchment paper or a silicone mat.

  • Portion the Chips:
Spoon or pipe small circles (about 2 inches wide) of the blended cottage cheese onto the tray, leaving space between each. Use the back of the spoon to flatten slightly.

  • Season:
Sprinkle each round with your chosen seasonings for added flavor.

  • Bake or Air Fry:

    • Oven: Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp.

    • Air Fryer: Air fry for 10–15 minutes, checking around 10 minutes to prevent burning.

  • Cool and Serve:
Let chips cool on the tray for 5–10 minutes. They’ll crisp up more as they cool.

Notes

Blending Is Key: Blended cottage cheese creates a smoother chip texture.

Custom Flavors: Add parmesan, chili powder, ranch seasoning, or Italian herbs.

Storage: Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Re-crisp in the oven or air fryer if needed.

Dipping Ideas: Great with guacamole, salsa, hummus, or Greek yogurt dip.
