Ingredients

2 pounds chicken wings or drumsticks

1½ tsp garlic powder

1 tsp salt

1 tsp black pepper

½ tsp onion powder

½ tsp dried basil

¼ tsp aluminum-free baking powder

4 Tbsp unsalted butter

2 tsp minced garlic

3 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place a wire rack on top. Lightly spray the rack with cooking spray.

In a bowl, mix garlic powder, salt, pepper, onion powder, basil, and baking powder.

Pat the chicken wings dry and toss in the spice mixture to coat evenly.

Arrange wings on the wire rack and bake for 25 minutes at 250°F.

Increase oven temperature to 450°F (230°C) and bake for an additional 30–40 minutes, flipping halfway, until wings are crispy and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Let wings rest for 5 minutes.

In a saucepan, melt butter and cook minced garlic until bubbling.

Brush the garlic butter over the wings, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and parsley. Serve immediately.
