- 3 (5 oz.) cans boneless, skinless salmon
- ¼ cup Milk
- 1 cup Panko Bread Crumbs
- 2 large Eggs
- ½ tsp. Salt
- ½ tsp. Black Pepper
- A few dashes of Seasoned Salt
- ¼ tsp. Cilantro
- ½ tsp. Onion Powder
- ½ tsp. Parsley
- Oil for frying
- 1 fresh Lime
- Tartar sauce for dipping
Instructions
- Drain the salmon and place it in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the milk, eggs, panko bread crumbs, salt, black pepper, seasoned salt, cilantro, onion powder, and parsley. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into patties, about 2-3 inches in diameter.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add oil for frying.
- Once the oil is hot, fry the patties in batches, cooking each side for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove the patties and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- Serve the salmon patties with fresh lime wedges and tartar sauce for dipping.
Notes
- If you prefer a smoother texture, you can mash the salmon with a fork before mixing.
- Feel free to add extra spices or herbs to suit your taste, such as garlic powder or dill.
- For a healthier version, you can bake the patties in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
