- 1 package active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk.
- Add sugar, butter, salt, eggs, and flour. Mix well.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
- Spread strawberries, brown sugar, and cinnamon on top.
- Roll up the dough and cut into slices.
- Place slices in a greased baking dish and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
- Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make glaze.
- Drizzle glaze over warm cinnamon rolls before serving.
Notes
- For extra strawberry flavor, you can add more diced strawberries in the filling.
- If the dough is too sticky, lightly flour your hands or the surface while working with it.
- These rolls are best enjoyed fresh and warm, but leftovers can be stored and reheated.
