- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Olive oil, for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the chopped spinach, ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into small balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Drizzle the spinach and ricotta balls with olive oil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add herbs like basil or oregano.
- You can freeze the unbaked balls and bake them later. Just add a few extra minutes to the baking time if baking from frozen.
