  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 brioche buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, pickles, and any other desired toppings

Instructions

  • Cut the chicken breasts in half horizontally to make 4 thin fillets.
  • Place the chicken fillets in a bowl and cover with buttermilk. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
  • Remove the chicken fillets from the buttermilk and dredge in the flour mixture until well coated.
  • Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat and fry the chicken fillets until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  • Toast the brioche buns and assemble the burgers with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and the fried chicken fillets.
