  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 large egg whites
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • Blue food coloring
  • Silver sprinkles

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
  • In a large bowl, sift together almond flour and powdered sugar.
  • In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until foamy. Gradually add granulated sugar and continue to beat until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold in the almond flour mixture until fully combined.
  • Add blue food coloring and mix until the desired color is achieved.
  • Transfer mixture to a piping bag and pipe snowflake shapes onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Sprinkle silver sprinkles on top of each snowflake.
  • Let the macarons sit at room temperature for 30 minutes to form a skin.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until macarons are set.
