Description

These Quick and Easy Peanut Butter Truffles are the ultimate sweet treat for peanut butter lovers! With just a few ingredients, they’re simple to make and perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth. Rich, creamy peanut butter wrapped in a coating of chocolate, these truffles are a delightful no-bake dessert.

Ingredients

Scale

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips (for coating)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (to help melt the chocolate)

Instructions

  • In a medium-sized bowl, mix the peanut butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and salt (if using) until smooth.
  • Roll the peanut butter mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Chill the peanut butter balls in the freezer for at least 30 minutes, or until firm.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and vegetable oil in 20-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted and smooth.
  • Dip each peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate, coating it completely. Return the coated truffles to the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Allow the chocolate coating to set by placing the truffles back in the freezer for another 10-15 minutes.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can store these truffles in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
  • For a fun twist, sprinkle crushed peanuts or a pinch of sea salt on top of the chocolate coating.
  • Feel free to use dark chocolate or milk chocolate for the coating depending on your preference
