  • Total Time: 30-35 minutes
  • Yield: 8 rolls 1x

Description

These delightful prosciutto-wrapped baked brie rolls are the perfect appetizer for any occasion. The creamy brie melts inside the crispy puff pastry, while the prosciutto adds a savory touch, complemented by the sweetness of fig jam. A bite-sized treat that is as indulgent as it is impressive.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 8 oz wheel of brie cheese
  • 8 slices prosciutto
  • 1/4 cup fig jam
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Fresh thyme leaves for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into 8 strips.
  • Spread a thin layer of fig jam on each strip.
  • Cut the brie into 8 pieces and place one piece on each strip of pastry.
  • Wrap a slice of prosciutto around each brie-topped strip.
  • Roll up the strips and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, seam side down.
  • Brush the rolls with the beaten egg to give them a golden finish.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed.
  • Serve warm, garnished with fresh thyme leaves.

Notes

  • You can substitute fig jam with apricot or strawberry jam for a different flavor.
  • For extra crispiness, place the rolls under the broiler for the last 1-2 minutes of baking.
  • These rolls can be served as a party appetizer or a starter alongside a fresh salad.
