- Olive oil

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Scrub the potatoes clean and dry them with a paper towel.
- Poke each potato several times with a fork.
- Rub olive oil all over the potatoes and sprinkle with salt.
- Place the potatoes directly on the oven rack and bake for 45-60 minutes, or until tender.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before adding your favorite toppings.
Notes
- You can wrap the potatoes in foil before baking if you prefer a softer skin.
