Description
This creamy, cheesy pasta combines ground beef, savory ranch seasoning, and sharp cheddar cheese, all cooked together in one pot for an easy and delicious meal. The rich, comforting dish is perfect for a quick weeknight dinner that the whole family will love.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup milk
- 8 oz pasta (e.g., rotini or penne)
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (1 oz)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot or skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the ground beef and diced onion, cooking until the beef is browned and the onion is soft, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Add the beef broth, milk, and ranch seasoning mix. Stir to combine.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then add the pasta. Reduce the heat and simmer, covered, for about 12-15 minutes or until the pasta is tender and most of the liquid has absorbed.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
- You can use any pasta you have on hand, but rotini or penne work best to hold the creamy sauce.
- For extra flavor, you can add a handful of chopped green onions or bacon crumbles as a garnish.
- This recipe can be made with ground turkey or chicken for a leaner version.
