- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- Fresh basil, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook chicken until browned on both sides and cooked through (about 6-7 minutes per side). Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Stir until well combined and bring to a simmer.
- Add halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, allowing them to soften.
- Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet and let them simmer in the sauce for 10-15 minutes, until the sauce thickens and the chicken is fully cooked.
- Garnish with freshly chopped basil before serving.
