Description
This creamy, savory dip combines the rich flavors of cream cheese, sour cream, ranch seasoning, cheddar cheese, and bacon for an irresistible treat. Served chilled, it’s perfect for parties or as a snack. For an extra kick, pair with crispy wonton cups!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 (1 oz) package ranch seasoning
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 3 green onions, diced
- 1/8 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1/2 cup bacon bits (or 6 pieces cooked chopped bacon)
Instructions
- Using an electric mixer, mix together cream cheese, sour cream, ranch seasoning, and seasoned salt.
- Stir in the green onions, bacon, and cheese.
- Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
Notes
- Be sure to let the cream cheese soften before mixing; I usually set it out on the counter 30 minutes before preparing.
- For convenience, cooked crumbled bacon or turkey bacon works great, but bacon bits can be used if you’re in a hurry.
- If the dip has been refrigerated, allow it to sit at room temperature for 20-30 minutes before serving to soften the cream cheese for easier dipping.
- This recipe can be doubled for a large crowd.
