Description

This homemade Honey Mustard Sauce is creamy, tangy, sweet, and incredibly versatile. Perfect as a dipping sauce for chicken tenders, fries, or pretzels—or as a zesty spread for sandwiches and burgers. Made with simple pantry staples, it whips up in minutes and tastes better than anything store-bought.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise

  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard

  • 1½ tbsp honey

  • 1 tsp yellow mustard (optional, for extra tang)

  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice

  • Salt, to taste

  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Mix Ingredients: In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, honey, yellow mustard (if using), and vinegar or lemon juice until smooth.

  • Season: Add a pinch of salt and black pepper to taste. Adjust sweetness or acidity as desired.

  • Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes for flavors to meld (optional, but recommended).

  • Serve: Use as a dip, dressing, or sandwich spread

Notes

For a lighter version, use Greek yogurt or light mayo.

Add a dash of garlic powder or paprika for extra flavor.

Keeps in the fridge for up to 1 week in an airtight container.

Perfect with chicken tenders, roasted veggies, or in wraps.
