  • 12 large button or cremini mushrooms, stems removed

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • ½ cup shredded hard cheese (Parmesan, mozzarella, or cheddar)

  • 12 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh herbs (parsley, thyme, or basil)

  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs (or gluten-free alternative)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt, to taste

  • Black pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Prep Mushrooms: Gently wipe mushrooms clean and remove the stems.

  2. Make Filling: In a bowl, mix cream cheese, shredded cheese, garlic, herbs, and breadcrumbs. Season with salt and pepper.

  3. Stuff Mushrooms: Spoon filling into each mushroom cap, pressing lightly to fill.

  4. Preheat Grill: Heat grill to medium. Oil the grates or use a grill-safe pan.

  5. Grill Mushrooms: Place mushrooms on indirect heat, cover, and grill for 10–15 minutes until tender and filling is golden.

  6. Serve: Remove with tongs, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
