- 1 Red Bell Pepper (finely chopped)
- ½ cup Sweet Onion (diced)
- 1 large Egg (beaten)
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
- ½ teaspoon Seasoned Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Pepper
- ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
- ¼ cup Mayonnaise
- ¼ cup Cilantro (chopped)
- Olive oil (for frying)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, cornmeal, seasoned salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Add the canned salmon, red bell pepper, onion, beaten egg, Worcestershire sauce, mayonnaise, and cilantro. Stir everything together until well combined.
- Form the mixture into small patties, about 2-3 inches in diameter.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the patties in batches for 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy.
- Once cooked, remove the patties and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- Serve hot with a side of tartar sauce, hot sauce, or your favorite dipping sauce.

- If you prefer a lighter option, you can bake the croquettes at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Adjust the seasoning to taste, adding more Worcestershire sauce or cilantro if desired.
