Description
This crispy, golden chicken breast is smothered in a rich garlic butter sauce with Parmesan and a touch of cream. It’s a quick and flavorful dish perfect for dinner!
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- In a shallow dish, combine flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Dredge chicken breasts in the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chicken breasts and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in chicken broth, heavy cream, and Parmesan cheese. Bring to a simmer and cook until the sauce has thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Return chicken breasts to the skillet, spoon sauce over them, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Serve the chicken hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or a side of vegetables for a complete meal. For a low-carb version, try cauliflower rice or zucchini noodles as sides.
