  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Green onions, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  • Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper, then coat with cornstarch.
  • Dip each piece in beaten eggs and fry in hot oil until crispy and golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
  • In a separate pan, combine soy sauce, honey, ketchup, garlic, sesame oil, and water. Bring to a simmer.
  • Add the cornstarch mixture to the sauce and cook until thickened.
  • Toss the fried chicken in the sauce until coated.
