Description

This one-pan creamy ranch beef skillet combines savory ground beef, tender bowtie pasta, sweet corn, and a creamy ranch sauce for a comforting, quick meal. Perfect for busy weeknights, this dish is full of flavor and family-friendly!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 2 cups Bowtie pasta (or any pasta of your choice)
  • 1 cup Sweet corn (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 packet Ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Beef broth (or chicken broth)
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 small Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or chives for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Cook the pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the bowtie pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Brown the beef: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks (about 5-7 minutes). Drain any excess fat if necessary.
  • Sauté vegetables: Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef, cooking for another 2-3 minutes until fragrant and softened.
  • Prepare the sauce: Stir in the ranch seasoning mix, beef broth, and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Add the corn and pasta: Stir in the sweet corn and cooked pasta, mixing until well combined. Let everything cook together for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  • Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley or chives if desired and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option.
  • If you want a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a dash of hot sauce to the sauce.
  • For extra richness, top with shredded cheese before serving.
