Description

Chocolate Snickers Cake is a rich and indulgent dessert that takes the best elements of a Snickers candy bar and turns them into a decadent cake. With layers of moist chocolate cake, gooey caramel, crunchy peanuts, and smooth chocolate ganache, this dessert is perfect for any special occasion or a sweet treat with loved ones.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix (or homemade chocolate cake batter)

  • 1 cup caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

  • 1 cup roasted peanuts, chopped

  • 1 bag (8 oz) caramel candies (unwrapped)

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Bake the Cake: Prepare the cake batter according to package instructions or your homemade recipe. Bake at 350°F (175°C) until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool completely.

  • Make the Caramel Filling: In a small saucepan, heat unwrapped caramel candies and heavy cream over medium-low heat, stirring until smooth. Let cool slightly.

  • Make the Ganache: Microwave chocolate chips and butter in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Add vanilla extract and salt.

  • Assemble the Cake: Layer the first cake on a serving plate. Spread caramel sauce, sprinkle chopped peanuts, and top with the second layer. Repeat with more caramel sauce and peanuts.

  • Add the Ganache: Pour ganache over the cake and spread evenly.

  • Chill and Serve: Refrigerate for 30 minutes to set before slicing.

Notes

Cake Mix vs. Homemade: A rich homemade chocolate cake adds depth to this dessert.

Chill the Cake: Chilling helps the ganache firm up and makes it easier to slice.

Peanut Preparation: Chop peanuts to your preferred texture for varying crunch.

Caramel Drizzle: Extra caramel sauce makes a great drizzle topping.
