Description

A comforting fusion of creamy Alfredo pasta and crispy tater tots, this casserole is a family favorite that’s easy to prepare and perfect for feeding a crowd.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or cubed)

  • 1 jar (15 oz) Alfredo sauce

  • 32 oz frozen tater tots

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • Optional: Chopped parsley or Italian seasoning


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  • In a large bowl, combine chicken, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix until evenly coated.

  • Spread the chicken mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.

  • Arrange tater tots in a single layer over the chicken mixture.

  • Bake for 40–45 minutes, until tater tots are golden and casserole is bubbling.

 

  • Optional: Sprinkle with chopped parsley or extra cheese before serving.

Notes

Use rotisserie chicken for a quick shortcut.

Do not thaw tater tots; bake them from frozen for best results.

Add a layer of cheese on top of the tots for extra gooeyness.

Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes after baking for easier serving.
