Description

This Baked Garlic Parmesan Shrimp is an effortless, elegant dish bursting with rich garlic-butter flavor and crispy, cheesy goodness. Made in one baking dish and ready in just 20 minutes, it’s the perfect blend of simple ingredients and bold flavor. Serve it over pasta, rice, or salad—or straight from the dish for a crave-worthy meal or appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb raw shrimp (peeled and deveined)

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 3 tbsp butter, melted

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil or nonstick spray.

  2. Prepare the Shrimp
Place shrimp in a single layer in the baking dish. Pat dry with paper towels to ensure even baking.

  3. Mix Garlic Butter Topping
In a bowl, whisk together melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

  4. Coat and Toss
Pour the garlic butter mixture over the shrimp. Toss gently to coat all the shrimp evenly.

  5. Bake
Bake uncovered for 10–12 minutes or until shrimp are pink and opaque. Optional: Broil for 1–2 minutes to brown the top.

  6. Garnish and Serve
Sprinkle with chopped parsley and red pepper flakes if desired. Serve hot over pasta, rice, or salad.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best texture and flavor.

Don’t overbake—shrimp are done when pink and curled into a “C” shape.

Add a splash of white wine to the garlic butter mixture for extra depth.

Great served as an appetizer, main dish, or low-carb entrée.
